When you’ve lived a life like Samantha’s, you learn never to take anything – or anyone – for granted, and that nothing is guaranteed in this lifetime.
“Alcohol. Because no great love story ever started with someone eating a salad.”
The word whimsical comes to mind when reminiscing on Sarah and Matt’s big day. From little wedding details like the above quote that greeted guests at the bar to the intricate floral arrangements at each table, you could tell that Sarah and Matt had an eye for details in making their special day a romantically whimsical one to remember. Alas, though, that is the beauty of this city – and one that others were quick to pick up on. I am so excited to share that Justin and Michelle’s Villa Terrace wedding was selected as a special feature in Wisconsin Bride as part of their Real Weddings section.

2016 has been one heck of a year. It was a year of female empowerment: from Hillary’s powerful presidential campaign to the U.S. women’s gymnastics team winning gold at the summer Olympics to getting to see the sensational Adele live with my daughter, Hannah. It was also the year of surprises: the Cubs winning the world series after 108 years and the reign of Trump.
